Terms of Service
Last updated: June 10, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Email List Validation email‑verification platform, API, and related services (the "Service"), operated by Email List Validation ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Email List Validation verifies email addresses — checking syntax, domain, MX records, SMTP deliverability, and risk signals such as catch‑all, disposable, role and spam‑trap addresses — and returns a result for each address. Verification accuracy is high but not guaranteed to be 100%; results are provided to help you make sending decisions, not as a warranty of deliverability.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for all activity under your account and API keys. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Credits, billing and refunds
- The Service runs on prepaid credits and/or subscriptions. Pricing is shown at checkout. Payments are processed by our payment provider (PayPro Global); we do not store your full card details.
- Purchased credits do not expire. Results we cannot determine ("unknown") are not charged.
- Because verification is consumed immediately, credits already used are non‑refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days and we will review it in good faith.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation stops future renewals.
4. Acceptable use
You agree that you have a lawful basis to process every email address you submit, and that you will not use the Service to:
- send spam, phishing, malware, or unsolicited bulk email, or to harass, defraud or harm anyone;
- verify lists you obtained unlawfully, or in violation of any third party's rights or applicable law (including anti‑spam and data‑protection laws);
- resell, sublicense or scrape the Service, exceed published rate limits, or attempt to disrupt or reverse‑engineer it.
You remain the controller of the data you upload and are responsible for your own compliance with applicable laws.
5. API
API access is subject to these Terms and any published rate limits. Keep your API keys secret; you are responsible for usage under them. We may revoke keys that are abused.
6. Intellectual property
We own the Service, its software, and its branding. You own the data you upload and the results we return for it. You grant us a limited licence to process your data solely to provide the Service.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. We do not warrant that verification results are error‑free or that the Service will be uninterrupted.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to comply with law. On termination, unused credits may be forfeited where permitted by law.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date; continued use after changes means you accept them.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless a mandatory consumer‑protection law provides otherwise.
